The route takes in the climb to Drws Yr Coed house, then loops through woodland, fields and trail paths passing through numerous farms and small holdings with stunning views of the Royal Welsh showground below.
We’d like to thank the farmers and landowners who have granted permission for their land to be used for the race, as without them this unique course would not have been a possibility:
– The Penmaenau Family – Penmaenau Farms, Llanelwedd, Builth Wells
– Mary, Stephen and Becky – Fforddlas Farm, Cwmbach, Builth Wells
– Carlos and Nina LaBorde – Cefndyrys, Llanelwedd, Builth Wells
We can’t wait to welcome you all to #runthetrails this May and see what we’ve got in store for you. For now, some pictures to wet your appetite..
The 10K starts within the Royal Welsh Showground, taking in valleys, fields, woodland tracks and stunning forestry - with stunning views of the Royal Welsh Showground below.
