Previously known as the Spring Festival, entry into Smallholding & Countryside Festival is FREE with your race entry. What’s more, all children aged 16 and under are entitled to free entry too – so bring your whole family along!
With an emphasis on celebrating rural life, the festival will still be packed with all different types of livestock, horses and other animals taking part in a busy two-day schedule of competitions and displays.
The two-day festival, with its action-packed programme of entertainment and educational activities, free workshops, displays and main ring performances offers the perfect family day out.
With over 1,300 livestock, poultry and horses, hundreds of tradestands, the only Premier Open Dog Show to be held in Wales, children’s activities, a food and drink quarter, vintage machinery, auction, country leisure and much more, the event has something for everyone whatever your interest or passion.
The Spring Festival will be open later into the evening on Saturday. Come and listen to some local bands, sample the street-food and enjoy and early summers evening with friends.
Well behaved dogs are welcome to accompany their responsible owners to the Festival, as long as they are kept on a lead at all times and do not enter the buildings.
Exclusive deals and discounts are available in the food hall for runners showing their finishers medals.
